Hello friends, This is Umang Parekh and will share my experience, challenges throughout this 6 days trip. This is my first trip to Goa. And i am happy that i was completed my first trip with so much fun and Adventures. This trip was planned by me. And its my budget trip so firstly i am happy that i will manage trip with my budget. I will done my All 5 days trip in only at just 12256/- with flight ticket. In this blog i will share you all details which unexplored places i will cover.

FLIGHTS:

First I want to book my flights so i will booked my flights in sky scanner website, as of now there is so many websites offer you cheap flight tickets but the prob. is that which website will offer me cheapest rate. In sky scanner website shows cheapest flight as per your requirements. so i will booked my flight ticket from Ahmedabad - Goa - Ahmedabad (round trip) from Sky scanner and the cost for round trip is only 4856/- with spice jet airlines. we booked this ticket 40 days prior. 

TRANSPORTATION:

when we planning to travel some unknown places first things comes in our mind is how we arrange the transportation and what they charge, So In Goa we do not think about the transportation because there is lot of options available. there is self drive car and bike options available. If you know driving very well then go with self drive car options. and other is the cab with driver. If you have good in driving than only choose self drive car. because the roads in Goa is not like metro city its narrow and zigzag road. 

I choose Swift desire (vdi) car for 5 days from Goa Airport to Goa Airport and the cost for 5 days is 6600/- and 3000 is security deposit. when you rent a car or bike must take video footage, because in Goa they charge you for single scratch and blame it to you. if its done by you so they will charge. if we have video so we can tell them its already have in car. second thing is must check spare wheel, jack, indicator bcz we have facing problem with spare wheel, in our car spare wheel and jack is not in working condition.

STAY:

As we r bag packers so we wasn't think about the stay, we are just exploring places. if you have with family then you can first think for stay but in Goa there is lot of  Night stay options available. I must recommend that don't book hotel stay prior to your trip if you r a traveler. choose only Night stay it will cost around maximum 600 per night. 

we r taking only 2 night Night Stay in Hotel. one in Honda, valpoi and second one is Agonda. rest of all days we r stay and sleep in beaches with a open view of sea. 

ITINERARY:

DAY 1 - 5 MAR 2021 (MANDRIM BEACH)

Arrived Goa At 5:00 PM, we started our journey from north Goa, because our most of places is in North Goa. So we have already booked self drive car for 5 days so we take a car from the airport and drive to our first place Mandarim beach, Mandarim beach is one of the cleanest and less crowed beach in Goa. Most of Foreign people you can spot hear in summer time. we drive approx 3 hours drive. At around 8 PM we are in Mandrim beach. In this beach restaurants are open till 3 AM as there is so many foreign tourist come late night. In night we sleep in beach. 

DAY 2 - 6 MAR 2021 (ARAMBOL MOUNTAIN, KERI BEACH, KARUTI CAVES & LOWKEY BEACH)

Morning our luck is bad that our car have puncher because of wrong parking. After that we checked the spare wheel but as i mention above our big mistake when rent a car our spare wheel is not good and jack is also Jam. we think its puncher but someone remove air from tire. we don't think about the car but the view of Sunrise form Mandrim beach is absolutely amazing. After that some local person help we fix it and around 11:00 AM drive to Arambol Mountain approx 4 km drive. The Parking charge in Arambol Mountain is very High its 200 for 4 hours. and do not think about the you can park anywhere the locals will remove the air form tires, we already face the issue. 

After that drive to our Third Place Is Karuti caves, Keri beach its almost 1 hour drive, Around 3:00 PM we reach at Kari Beach, Keri Beach is also one of the cleanest and unique beach in Goa. For surfing and swimming Keri beach is the best beach in Goa. From The Route of Karuti caves is from Keri Beach and Karuti Cave is Best for Sunset. as its too late for sunset. so We can explore one hidden beach called Law-key Beach. Law-key beach route is from the hill you need to trek half hour from hills but its a best experience to reach low key beach. Low-key beach is quite similar to Butterfly beach.

you can try paragliding from low-key beach.

after spent some time in low-key beach return to karuti caves for the sun-set, at the top of the hill of karuti caves its a best view of sun-set. return to keri beach and overnight stay at keri beach. morning freshen up at restaurant washroom

DAY 3 - 7 MAR 2021 (SATREM WATERFALL, VALPOI)

After freshen up drive to the SATREM WATERFALL the best adventure trek. Satrem waterfall is one of the Hidden place in Goa its locate in center of the jungle, and the trek route is through the jungle and approx. time to reach the water fall is around 2 hour to reach and 2 hour for return. there is no mobile network available. if you lost in jungle then its very hard to come back. 

around 2 hours trek we finally reach at the stunning view of hidden waterfall, no one is there at waterfall, and the feeling like me, waterfall and nature. Totally peaceful location only the sound of waterfall and birds. Its like 2 hours trek is totally worth. we r very happy to reach the destination without any guide. but who's know next.

From the beginning we find the route to reach the waterfall but in return we lost the route, and our body energy like 10%, then we start shouting in jungle Help...Help....Help... but in jungle there is no one around us for help, then we decide to go through walk on the beside from the stream but its not easy to walk beside the stream as only we knows how we trek. through the trek some bunch of small spiders or who's know some like that stuck on my shoulder and its like a electric shock I remove form my hand and clear through the water. thanks to god its not harm to my body. then we go ahead to trek and shouting in jungle help. then we found some arrow drown on the rocks. our water is also empty so we drink stream water is like great but the only water is our energy source. after around 2 hours we walk beside the stream and shouting, but no one hear our voice. then after some time one husband wife hear our voice and we go there but there also one challenging situation, they are not familiar with the Hindi and English, they only talk with there local language, , that's we don't understand. Its look like they stay in jungle. After around 15 minutes we talk with them in a sign language. but they misunderstand our sings they think we want to go to waterfall back but after that our wild acting they finally understand that we go to back to the top. then they come with us for to show the route. after they understand we don't trust them bcz in a jungle who's know where we going with them but there is no other option. bcz if we stuck in jungle in night so who will help us. so we follow them. after 15 minutes follow they say this is the route that you back from the jungle. we thanks to them, after around 45 minutes walk though the route we finally reach at our car. and our energy like 5%. bcz its around 3 to 4 hours we trek

in jungle. after we reach at our car there is also one challenge arise. I thought when we reach at car start car AC chilled the car to rest. but the challenge is when we start trekking we forget the switch of the lights and the result was the car battery is totally down so car was not start. and its a jungle area there is no garage that we fix  the prob. and its around 4:00 PM, then some rest in car near by there is a house they knows Hindi very well, so we talk to them our prob. so they help us they remove our car battery and install his battery to start car. they say when start the car you want to drive around 25 to 30 kms continuously then only your battery will charge. we thanks to them for helping, they are doing horticulture farm in there home so from there we buy fresh strawberry. and continuously drive 30 kms and reach the valpoi area. around 7:30 we reach at valpoi then we book a hotel for a night stay bcz. after dinner at restaurant in valpoi we rest in hotel. the day was like fully adventures.  

DAY 4 - 8 MAR (HARVELLAM WATERFALL, COLA BEACH & AGONDA)

Last day is totally like adventure but its waste our some around half day time, so we drop our 1 hidden destination (SURLA WATERFALL) and from locals we find some news that in surla waterfall 1 person death so the goa police close the route. 

so after Freshen up we drive to HARVELLAM WATERFALL from valpoi, its around 7 kms and threre is no trekking to reach. route is clear and parking space also available. so we park the car and go the waterfall there is a nice view of waterfall. there is a temple near to waterfall. after spent some time around half hour we drive to south Goa our next destination COLA BEACH around 95 km drive it takes around 3 hours. so we reach cola beach at around 3:30 PM. to reach cola beach you park your car upper side. and around 15 minutes walk to reach.

COLA BEACH is one of the expensive beach in Goa. but the specialty of the beach is there is combination of backwater and beach. you can swim in back water and feel that you are in Kerala. and backwater like very calm water you must try boat ride by self bcz there is no deep water actually. so its very cool place to swim. the best thing is the sunset. you can see the sunset through the backwater swim at the front there is sea and the stunning view of sunset. this is a best sunset ever i watch like this. 

normally we watch sunset to seat at the beach, but swimming in back water and see the sunset is like..no words to explain. 

After watching sunset we drive to Agonda its around 12kms, we overnight stay at cillantro Beach cottages the fare around 1000 for 2 person but the beach cottage feels like we r in Maldives.

DAY 5 - 9 MAR (AGONDA BEACH, SANCOLE CHURCH, MANGROVE BIRD NESTING, HOUSES OF GOA, BAGA BEACH) 

This day as per our itinerary we plan to visit all major and unexplored museums and places to cover.

So at morning walk to the Agonda beach after freshen up drive to Sancole church around 53km drive, Its old church built in 1606 and got destroyed in a fire. after spent 15 minutes drive around 20kms to Mangrove Boadwalk Bird Nesting, this is best peaceful location that you can see different types of birds and voice of birds is totally calm your mind. spent half hour and drive to Houses of Goa Museum its around 7 km. This Museum built for the best artist Mario, Mario painting like funny and no single face is repeat in other painting, they make around 1,00,000 paintings in his life. after spent some time Drive to Agoda fort around takes 15km half hour drive. its around 6:30 so the Fort was closed so we drive to Baga beach (the worst beach and area) never ever go on this beach also there is near by beaches the travel agents offer like calangute beach, condolium beach is totally worst. too much public and on the beach like full of lighting in night loudly speaker on each and every restaurant plays continuously like a race. never ever trust any one, the local public will try to trap you. so be careful. i recommend that don't go to this beach its totally worst, if you are travel explorer so no need to go there but you want clubbing so you can go there. we have extra time bcz our 1 destination was cancelled so that we think lets see the travel agents offer places. but its worst. evening stay in car at baga parking. 

DAY 6 - 10 MAR (BOGMALO BEACH, SUSIDE POINT, HEART SHAPE LAKE & NATIONAL NAVAL AVIATION MUSEUM )

This is our last day morning around 5 AM drive to Bogmalo Beach, we choose last day destination around the Goa Airport, so we easily reach at our flight time.

so Bogmalo beach is near by Airport and this beach is also clean beach not like baga & calangute, from Bogmalo beach there is a boat ride to Butterfly beach & honeymoon beach, butterfly beach is one of the hidden and beautiful destination, from the bogmalo beach its takes around 40 minuts bote ride and cost around 1500/- and en-route you can spot dolphins, we have not enough time to go there and also dont have money to explore but i must recommend for a couple to must go there for a ones. after spent some half hour at bogmalo beach drive to Lake of heart and suside point. it takes 5 kms around half hour drive. Lake of heart like stunning view, its a lake - like heart sape. and from the suside point the view of sea like outstanding. after spent some time drive to Naval aviation Musium this musium is Asia's only Navy museum spent some time and it almost around 6:30 and our flight time is around 11:00.

drive to Airport and our rental car give back after some basic formalities, when they collect the car they check car like CID. if single scratch found you want to paid money for this, so when you rent a car must take vidio of car so that when returning they can't blame us. after take deposit and id back. go to the near by restaurant and take a dinner and the time was around 8:00 PM so go to the airport and take the flight to back to Ahmedabad with the sweet and adventures memory.

our last flight of spice jet like charter, and our luck that next day 11 March our PM Mr. Narendra Modi was come in Ahmedabad, so The view of Ahmedabad with lighting like bride.
